KDP Kill

Anyone know of a good place to get the KDP kill kit?

here's 2 i know of so far. geno's kit has rtv silicone for the timing cover and pdr has a gasket for the cover. take your pick. $4 more for pdr's kit with the gasket.

Your coat closet . . . .

Get a heavy coat-hanger and fashon a piece of it as such.





Then slip it in under the adjacent bolt torqued as usual.





Works just fine.

Just get the front crank seal and peen the pin in. I have had good success reusing the cover gasket, it sticks to the cover like stink on poo and a bead of RTV will seal it to the case.

Let me know if you want a hand, I'm probably less than an hour from you.

i just did mine this past saturday, took b/w 4-5 hours - its easy to do!

i got the kit from genos and wasnt too happy about it the guide for the crank seal was 1/8" too small and i couldnt get it on the crank so i had to get the oem seal from cummins and genos wouldnt refund me...i was a little mad about that

be sure to locktite and re-torc the 5 bolts holding the case to the block i had one bolt only finger tight! if you need directions look up TST dowl pin directions- very straight forward
