Installed 3200rpm spring,Egt high.

I installed my 3200 rpm spring today,I really like the improvement.I`ve made some pump adjustments and a hx-35,12.But now Egts go to 1300 under hard throttle.I was also pulling my 16ft trailor unloaded,it only weighs 1100lbs.What is the best thing to do about the Egts.My truck is a `93 dually auto,3.54 gears.

well is the 12 cm wastegated or non, if so whats it set at. but probably you set the full fuel screw deeper in, and all the 3200 does is keep the fuel coming instead of at 2600 IIRC

A timing bump will help EGTs if you have not done it yet. Also, now that you have more RPM, maybe the lift pump isn't keeping up at the higher engine speeds. If the lift pump pressure is dropping off it may affect the dynamic timing in the VE. You'd be losing advance just when you need it most, high RPM and full throttle. Throw a cheap gauge on and go for a drive, might be worth a look.

Yes it it a Wg housing,it will spool up to around 30psi with the WG hooked up.I`ve considered putting my H1C back on or switching the exhaust housing from my H1C to my HX-35.And I`ll put a fuel pressure guage on to check the fuel pressure. What is reccommended fuel pressure.

A healthy stock lift pump will put out 6-8 psi at idle.
