Indexing throttle

Indexing throttle

Ok well i indexed the throttle when i put the gov. spring in and when i did that i turned the idle all the way out and it was still to high. so i moved it one spline and turnid the idle screw back up and now it seems to have less power??? Any ideas idk what to do

When you re-index the throttle you don't get FULL throttle travel - even if your pedal is on the floor.
Have someone mash the pedal while you watch the throttle. Then adjust the CABLE so the throttle lever touches - or almost touches - the IP body at wide open.

I had to bend the pedal lever where the cable attaches ... Almost 1"

Switching the ball stud and the return spring locations on the pump lever works wonders for throttle travel.
