throttle shaft indexing?

i was thinking what have you guys done to achive full fuel after reindexing your throttle shaft? when you turn up the pump enough to need it.

since you have to lenth'in the throttle linkage to get it to idle but that then doesn't allow full throttle travel because the linkage is too long

now i fixed mine today so i know what i did but how did you do it?

and on my truck fixing this issue got me about 500 to 1,000 rpm more than what i have been driveing it at
i will post pics later, since its dark outside right now

I always switch the linkage and the return spring holes on the throttle lever.

i decided last night since the road was clear and i hadn't had a chance to see what it would do since i fixed the throttle travle, to hammer it. it pulled hard all the way up to 3,400 rpm maybe 3,500. wow what a difference that little bit can make

that is what i did to get full traval but switching the spring and linkage might have been enough?

and i had a steel ball like the throttle linkage uses left over from a gas strut kit for like a tool box
