THANK YOU VERY MUCH Welcome home, don't worry about the truck right now, I know your wife and daughters have missed you and wnat to spend time with you. Throw another log on the fire and read them an extra bedtime story. Both the truck and us will still be here.

You'll never hear this from OUR government, but THANK YOU for going where others fear to tread, doing things other are afraid to do, to protect all of us. Welcome home, enjoy the reunion with your family and enjoy the holidays! Thanks again, and God bless.

Welcome back, glad you made it home to your family. Thank you for your service, and enjoy life every minute with the wife and little ones. I am sure the truck will wait another week or two!

When you're caught up on the family interaction, and you're getting used to the weather back here, do the truck. In the meantime, I think you're getting the message that we all deeply appreciate the work you and your counterparts have done and are doing.

Well done from this old retiree... DBF

Thank you all very much. I really appreciate it.

I got the old dodge up and running, got anti-freeze in her and drove half of yesterday. Then last night i went to rent some movies and came out to a huge puddle. The tranny heat exchanger blew a rust chunk out and is more than leaking. I drove home with no coolant at all. It was only like a mile and I figured with how cold it was and easy throttle it should be fine. I got home an the block was still cool enough to put your hand on it. It did make a couple funny noises when I cranked it up this norning, but i figure thats because it was 10* and the block heater wasnt plugged in.

Diesels run really cool, like 500* egt on average at part throttle right? Just need some reassurance the old cummins is ok. LOL

It oughta be OK. If the engine wasn't hot I doubt you hurt anything.

Welcome back - and thank you.
