I wanted to get a good shot at the front cover to use rtv, get the crank seal and get the gear puller on. It made everything very easy once they were out of the way.

but sorry to say, I don't think any exhaust manifold is going to bump you to 400hp. The smallest restriction in your exhaust right now is the 60mm exhaust wheel. get a 65mm exhaust wheel with the stock housing and I guaranty that your drive pressure will be lots lower, and as a result your EGT's will be lower!
I really don't expect that changing exhaust manifolds would bump horsepower much but I do need to get a handle on egt's. This set up isn't afraid to hit 1600+ degrees in a quarter mile. Reducing drive pressure has to improve something. I just mentioned the four hundred horsepower because of the advertising. I would like to know what set up HTT was using to get those numbers.

I'm just saying I wouldn't waste 4 bills on an exhaust manifold. Unless you're stock one is cracked or shrunk a lot. Put it towards a turbo that will move some air, with a bigger exhaust side, and that will lower you're egt's.

Well, I am all for saving money. I'll do it.

I think their setup included a calculator and a bunch of equations. That would determine how much power u can get from the amount of air it can push.
