I think I found my 93, whaddya think of it

I'm not giving you much time to share any advice, I'm leaving late tonight to drive to Arizona, about 450 miles from here.

Here is the truck:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...r=&cardist=456

The upside of Az. cars is no rust, and the owner claims this truck has none. I checked the vin#, it has been an Az. truck all its life.

The downside of Az. is the sun, and the owner assures me the topside paint is quite faded. Since it is grey with green, and grey is notorious for fading, it find the owner easy to believe.

He did the trans just 3k ago, $2700 in receipts, Hughes trans, clutch, and lock-up converter.

He also has a $900 receipt for 12mm injectors and lift pump.

Medical reasons force sale.

I had hoped for a lower mile truck, mostly so the trans wasn't on the brink of failure forcing an immediate large investment, but 150k with the fresh trans doesn't sound so bad.

He will come down a little in price, if this truck looks ok it will be mine by tommorow night.

Hot time of year to be headed to Phoenix in my no A/C van...

Looks like a nice truck! My '93 spent its time in AZ and TX, the underside is just dirty, no rust. The weatherstripping was shot, though.

Looks great, but 1st gens didn't have a lock-up converter stock, might ask him if he converted it.
