Hx40?
Okay I am looking for a good reliable Daily Driver. I want to run a HX40. I see them on ebay with reasonable prices all the time. But which HX40 do I need? The measurements just seem to big to me. Compressor Wheel Ind: 56.60mm Exd: 74.71mm Trim: 54.8 Turbiner wheel 3" V-band Ind: 76 mm Exd: 64 mm. That is Hebrew to me. Here is the link. I am going to do a ton of mods to the truck injectors water meth larger intercooler tubes got a powerstroke intercooler and free flowing exhaust. Tweaked the pump and bumped timing. The engine is coming out of the truck has a blown head gasket so o-ringed and studded head and 60# valve springs and much more.

Something seems weird about that seller. I've never seen an hx40 with a 3'' exhaust outlet. Every picture they have looks like an hx35... Honestly, if you're going that far with the engine, I would recommend talking to high tech turbo on what charger would work the best for your power goals. Those folks know their stuff and are great to work with. JMO.

With an HX40 you're really looking for a 60/65/16 with a 7-8 blade wheel...the 6 blade wheel is fine don't get me wrong but the 7-8 blade wheel says that its a SUPER HX40 which has the upgraded shaft and pushes slightly more air, but don't avoid a 6 blade HX40 if you come across one

7 blade is the latest and greatest...
Keep looking and don't pass up a couple of the weirdos you may run across...
Mine is the super 7 blade 60/65/17
The only problem is no one wanted an HX50 turbine flange with a 17 cm housing.
I got it for under $200 delivered to my house.
A $50 adapter and some bolts to hold it to the T3 manifold and presto I've got over 55psi available on demand.
And since I've got an auto the weird turbine has little noticeable effect, even with stock sticks - and with the new 6x.016's it's great . . . .
