I looked around for the answer to this but couldnt find it,(maybe I wasnt looking hard enough)


I just want to know what exactly needs to be done to put an hx35 turbo in my truck, does it just bolt in? do I have to make any mods/changes?

Ive got a 91.5 with the stock turbo in it, Im assuming its the 21 cuz it lags like crazy.

you can get a non wastegated exhaust housing for quicker spool up, it will bolt right in, i was running a 12cm, the hx35 gated housing will do the same by just moving the ex pipe back, because of the gate

it will decrease your lag, the upper end cfm of the hx35 is a little more than the h1

where can i find a 12 cm housing everywhere i go i just find the 14 and 16. How is the 14?

a 12cm housing will come stock on an hx35 turbo.

Scroll the top of this page, on the grey header click "User CP" all the way to the left, then scroll down and click "Edit signature"

You can use the same exhaust housings on an H1C as an HX35.

Yea you can put an HX35 12cm housing on a H1C, they sell 12cm housings. But why buy one when they come stock on millions of trucks from 94-02, someone that upgraded will probably sell you theres cheap.
