Next time I change it I'm gonna add a dipstick to the fill cap so I can check the level.

Why do you have to check the level in the getrag? Do they typically use oil or what?

I mean ours doesn't leak at all now so i've never thought about checking it....

Well, it's good practice to check all of your fluids. The fluid in my trans didn't appear to leak out, but I found all the fluid in the cavity between the trans and transfer case. I think it's because I swapped to a trans cover without a breather. It literally pushed the rear seal further down the shaft!
