I just did mine because I went to put my 3200 spring in and when I popped the cover it was fuel of fuel. I had to go in there anyway so it wasn't a big deal. I don't think it will hurt anything. You don't know how long it's been that way and you've been driving it, right.

White smoke could mean air in the fuel system. Also to replace the fuel screw o-ring You just need to remove the screw and replace the little o-ring as far as I remember.

As long as it's not pouring out the vent it will be OK.

well I tore into it tonight and I found a cupped washer under the o-ring retainer that wasn't mentioned in the sticky does any body have any idea if it is supposed to be there?

Yea, my old non-ic pump didn't have it but the intercooled pump did. The piece that the pin rides through is machined to accept the little cupped washer on the newer pump. I was going to use it on my non-ic but of course it wasn't machined for it so it no go.
