Grease or rust on fuel pin?

Grease or rust on fuel pin?
removed the top so that i could adjust the star wheel last night and when i removed the fuel pin it looked like.....well greasee rust!
I wonted to wipe it of but didn't now what type of lube to put back on it so i just turned the star will down a 1/4 and put it back to gether!
Any sugestions

I use di-electric grease with good luck. Some have used anti-sneeze, but that stuff is just plain nasty when you get it on you and the AFC isn't exactly a high heat area, relatively speaking.
