Grease or rust on fuel pin?

Grease or rust on fuel pin?

removed the top so that i could adjust the star wheel last night and when i removed the fuel pin it looked like.....well greasee rust!
I wonted to wipe it of but didn't now what type of lube to put back on it so i just turned the star will down a 1/4 and put it back to gether!
Any sugestions

I use di-electric grease with good luck. Some have used anti-sneeze, but that stuff is just plain nasty when you get it on you and the AFC isn't exactly a high heat area, relatively speaking.

I use a little dab of chassis grease (which in my case means Mobil 1 grease).

I just squirt some silicone spray lube in where the top banjo bolt attaches. Seems to do fine so far.

All that is going to do is make a mess on top of the diaphragm.

What a bout a boat grease?....if theres boost theres got to be condensation so moisture could get in and cause rust problems!.............Never mined my mined just caught up the moister or boost couldn't get there unless there was a tair in the dyafram,and the moister would be the least of the problem
