getrag questions
I am looking to swap my auto for a getrag. I have a line on a 1991 w350 4x4 but it is a gas job. will this work on my cummins? thank you for any input.

Nope, If its a 91 w350 with a gasser. It'll have a light duty nv4500. "gas version"...heck it might even have a new process 4 speed granny in it , i'm not up on gas jobs
the getrag 360 was only used in 89-93 dodge cummins trucks....thats why noones heard of it most the time

From the New Venture installation manual page 3, Introduction:
Then on page 7 it says mid-1992 to 1993 Dodge code DA & DB.
So if it's a pre-1992 original transmission it shouldn't be a NV4500 because they were not yet invented. Now if it's been swapped, then who knows what could be in there. Time to go and inspect it.
In 1993, General Motors and Chrysler teamed up to manufacture a transmission referred to as the New Venture transmission. The NV4500 is used in both GM & Dodge truck applications.
