Getrag Gebroken
Dave,
I saw you mentioned that the stock Sachs cluth is only rated to about 300hp... That thing is pretty heavy duty... do you think it could be re-built up to hold a lot more torque? I have heard about clutch rebuilding, but havent had it done myself.

Most people can get it to you for right around $1k shipped. That's including the flywheel, sealed ball bearing style pilot bearing, clutch assembly, throwout bearing, and the install stub.
I have a Sachs pressure plate that I had Duel springs put into it that required some work to make it fit and a 6 puck full ceremic HD disk with the NV4500 that I converted to fit in my 92 with lots of mods (that was way to much power for the Getrag). I converted to a Allison 545 that I converted to manual shift with a devorced 205. Sled pulling is hard on parts.
