Any one know if these are still available from the dealer? Any one have a part number or know of an aftermarket or alternative source?
On a side note has any one installed a gas electric pump in their truck and gotten rid of the mechanical pump? In 91-92 5.9 gas trucks it would have been the low pressure TBI system with 14 PSI. It would still probably need a regulator and return line though.

52017992 fits my 92, but you should confirm with the dealer. I buy my stuff from a FLorida online dealership.

The gas 5.9 truck unit is the same except the module assembly has a fuel pump in it. I have found plenty of those in the aftermarket. Rock auto has some pretty cheap ones.
I gave my little beater Elantra to my son and bought a 2009 Accent that broke a timing belt, banged two intake valves and cracked the valve guides. I found some guides on Rock Auto and bought a tool from Goodson. I put the new guides in yesterday (Saturday) so I just need to recondition the head and get that running before I take the truck apart. It's my only street legal vehicle right now so have to fix the Accent first.
Thanks guys for the help, I'll figure something out and let you all know what I did and how it worked out.
