fuel pressure guage

Will this fuel pressuer guage work on my truck that is in my sig? I went around town and everybody wants $75 for a mechanical guage. All opinions appreciated.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...2255&viewitem=

What fuel pressure gauge? You might want to check second and third gen classifieds on this and other forums for a good deal on one.

it will work but you probably need to route the sender unit away from the block. I did not have enough room (TV and throttle cables in the way) to mount it right into the banjo bolt.

ok, what would i need to connect this into the fuel line or banjo bolt?

Banjo bolt. Guys who use that style gauge often use a grease gun extension hose to plumb the sender into that tight area.

This may be a stupid question but would a trucking place have the banjo bolt i need or what about oriely's, advance auto parts, or autozone?

Yes, that's the AutoMeter one, it will work fine.

Note that it's special order. I thought you wanted to walk in and buy one off the shelf.

Ya i know its special order. I just wanted to get one locally so i can pay cash. Will the sensor just screw into this? it looks like i will have enough room.

The sensor will thread in. I think you will have clearance issues with the sender.
