fuel pin is ground

i had a little extra spare time on my hands so i decided to grind on the fuel pin. well i done it and i love it. it took about 30 min to do and it wasnt hard. well worth it. maybe later ill grind a little more on it . it seems to have a lot more pep to it.

to grind it i just used a dremel tool kinda. its the same thing just air powered. did my grinding with that them hand sanded it with emery cloth to get it smooth. when i take it would again to do some more grinding i will take pics. my only problem with that is that i do nt have a digital camera. just a scaner and normal camera.

my approach my not be the best...I should have kept more material at the bottom and dove in a bit more suddenly at the top---I've got plenty of fuel down low as it is with the AFC ground all to heck, hehe. If you can find a pic of an aftermarket cone, that's really where it's at--notice the sudden-ness of the curve to full afc fueling. That's the way to do it. When I have the money (and the air...) I will purchace from those who have worked countless hours to design a pin that works---and it will be worth every penny! For now, the home gind is fun and cheap..and I did mine with an angle grinder with a 4'' cutoff wheel!!!

IMO the aftermarket pins start fueling too early for a truck with a ground AFC lever.
