If I were to buy one I would give the business to Old Smoky the innovator of the "Power Pin". Last I heard they were $124.00 plus shipping.

I was very, very impressed by the power I gained with it. Many claim that egts go way up, but mine didnt go up too bad. I had a member cut mine, much like you could do it yourself with a little knowhow.

Old Smokey's pin made 20hp gain at the wheels across the board on my old 1st gen. It went from 218hp to 238hp before injectors, turbo, etc, then later down the road it went from 321hp to 341hp at the wheels with just the installation of the fuel pin between dyno runs. Well worth the $125 to wake that old 1st gen up. I don't know about Bully Dog's pin.

Maxx250,

I have one installed on my truck. I shaved the plastic washer by half and swapped the AFC spring from the two-toned red/green to the silver one as it has less tension and allows quicker boost. Sure, you could grind your own as many have done but I was lazy and wanted it NOW. Don't quote me but... from what I've read on this and other forums, Bully Dog simply copied the Old Smokey pin. That pin swap really woke things up. I am happy with it.

Aloha,
Matt

i believe the 40hp claim is above the stock pin at the stock setting
the 20hp would be what the pin should gain you over the stock pin at the deepest setting... at least from what i understand.

With the stock injectors and the stock torque converter I put 195/455 to the rollers with the Bully Dog fuel pin and pump tweaks. Now with my current sig. I hit 264/556. We won't discuss egt's. I have a new gauge coming.
