You are aware that ther is between 5-7 gallons still in your tank when the "low fuel" light goes on?

I got 7mpg the other day, im thinkin that the injectors are gettin sticky or somethin. I turned the timing on the pump a little and seems like the milage is getting better.

How cold is it and what type of fuel are you running and how long do you let your truck idle before launch?

How heavy is your right foot.....

Does seem a little low though. Does the truck ever warm up on your outings? I find when I'm doing short runs around town I eat a lot more fuel then when I'm rocking down the highway.

13 isn't bad considering the dump box. Things to check could be pop pressure, pump leaks, and valve adjustment. Also check for a lead plate in your right boot.

Just running around town with no lead plated boot and driving like grandpa rv, I get 19 mpg. I notice a deacrease in milage when my air filter starts to clog up.

In the summer it seemed like i got alot better mileage, would it make much of a difference if i put a piece of cardboard over some of the radiator to make it warm quicker and stay warm
