Front Suspension

I have a 90 D250 that seems to be sitting a little low in the front. I attached a picture of it so you guys can tell me if its normal or if its time for some shocks and springs. There isn't a whole lot of the D250's rolling around here, so not sure how they normally sit. There is a good bit a rattling coming from the front suspension area when going over bumpy roads. I did check and my front axles are rated for 3840lbs, but could I still put the heavy duty springs and shocks to get it to sit a little higher?Let me know if you need more info

That's the typical 2wd cummins front end sag. A set of Moog HD coils...believe they are 7226S? Will get the front end back up to height.

Your noises from the front end are probably worn bushings and BJ's etc. Probably a good idea to go through the front end and replace what's needed at the same time.

Truck in MD sagging also

In Maryland I believe, is the following D250 2wd for sale, and from the pics, it too seems to be a bit low in the front. So from the previous advice regarding the coil springs needing replaced, seems to be going on with this one also>

1993 Dodge D250 12v Cummins 91k orig. miles

Believe the same truck was also recently posted on Ebay with a few more pics.

I put the Moog standard duty 1 ton springs in mine and it raised the front end up about 3 inches.

He says the truck is unmolested but that obviously doesn't include what some hack did with the paint.

Angry are the springs your referring too the same Moog springs Cows stated? I have a 93 D350 that needs a facelift and want two or three inches of lift so I want the best choice.

Cows how do those Moog springs feel on the road? Thanks

I believe they were the 5716 springs. Listed as fitting some GM trucks as well.

They also have 5716S which is a heavier duty spring.
