Front suspension noise

Has anybody else here experienced a pop clunk sound when making a turn in their 2003 2500 cummins 4x4? mine is right under floorboard and when I make a r/hand turn, I think it is a control link. ???

Re:Front suspension noise

Mine was the steering arm stops on my 2by. A little grease fixed that nicely. Not sure if this applies to the 4by or not.

Casey

Question

Mark,

I have experienced this exact thing. It is somewhat ittermittent and when I took it to the dealer, of course, it did not exibit the problem so that the mechanic could hear it.
Did you ever figure this out? Is it still happening?

I took it back to the dealer yesterday because it was making the noise, grabbed the mechanic and took him for a ride and let him hear the noises. He thinks that it could be a rotor or something because when you apply the brakes the clunking seems to go away but like yourself I feel it in the floorboard.

I dont wish to make several trips to the dealer for them to throw parts at it so I was hoping that you were able to track the problem down and correct it.
