front end question
in my sig i have my 89 cummins, i have noticied that it appears that it leans lower on the driver side than on the passenger side. i was wondering if anyone knows why this could happen and how i could fix it. the truck was not abused before i got it and i know it has not been in a wreck. is it possible the coil springs could be messed up just on that one side and if so how could i check for this problem. thanks
there is a service bulletin out about this from chrysler, the battery, fueltank and driver are all on that side and it wears out faster. You can replacethe springs alltogether with moog 7226S or put the coil spring booster in that side like the SB calls out.
so i take it that the front coil is probably out huh...just my luck haha
how much do new coil springs cost and is that all i will have to replace. i will probably just replace both springs at the same time to keep it uniform, but just want to make sure that i won't have to buy a bunch of other parts when i buy the coil springs.

My truck used to sit so low the wheels were almost up in the wheel wells. I put the new springs on from NAPA (about 100-125 bucks) and it looked like a 4x4. Actually almost sat higher in the front!!! After a couple months in settled in a lil bit and looks real nice now. Rides a lot better too!
