Could you remove the exhaust, injectors, mani/turbo, and all the other stuff you could call "yours"?

Cars and trucks work better because they have titles. You give the bank the title, they put a lien on it, and you can't legally sell it. Tools work for pawn shops because you have to give them the tools, no titles, no repos as they already have it in their possession, they give pennies on the dollar and they have a store to sell your stuff in later. The bank does not want a vault full of tools to store. (I would like a vault of tools!)

From the bank's side, you come in and want a loan and the car or truck is the easy way to get a legal right to an asset. You still get to use your asset, you just can't sell it.

 

No they wont even let me get my hitch out of the reciver it is all part of the truck in there eyes .

 

I think this is your best shot since you don't have the cash.
