i don't think there is a difference in SRW other than the listed GVW. I could be wrong though. Off topic (sorta) if your auto is stock i would invest some money in it before you start pulling heavy.

Since he has his truck listed as a 3/4 ton REGULAR cab, he has the short frame, same as used in 1/2 ton reg cab long beds. The Crew cab and xtended cab 3/4 tons have the tall frame same as 1 ton SRW and DRW. If your truck was a 1 ton reg cab SRW it would have a super beefy frame as well....

Yah man I wouldn't mess with trying to beef up the 3/4 ton with a bigger axle. The frame is the weak link.

IF you are gonna do some heavy haulin, find yourself a nice one ton Dually.. They pull the heavy loads nice.. Much more stable.. Auto or stick, whatever you prefer..

Anything you might tow that needs to go on a 35 foot 4 axle trailer is gonna be wayyyy too heavy for a light duty truck.

get a 3rd gen dually to pull that load GGEEZZZ.

the only diff. between a SRW 350 and 250 is maybe one leaf spring and .5 inch difference in rear brake shoe width.

That is incorrect. If you don't have a tape measure, go out and look at the fwd shackle of the rear axle leaf springs on the two SRW trucks. The shackle will be hanging down below the bottom of the frame on the 250 and will be well within the height of the frame on the SRW 350 reg cab.

Point being, the 350 SRW has a much taller, beefier frame.

my 91 350 has the short frame jsut like my 91 250, the only difference i see is the 350 did not come with factory overloads 250 did and the 250 has 4 inch rear blocks vs. the 350 6 inch blocks

In '93 the 1 ton and the 3/4 ton frames were the same. In '90 they weren't. I don't know the year they became the same but his truck is listed as a '92. Could be the same.
