Electrical Gremlins

alright guys this might be simple, might not. Its too dark to take a good look and I'm already dressed to go out, but my trucks being cranky again. The speedometer and odometer decided not to work, the O/D shutout button won't light up, and my guages won't light. These are the only issues I've detected so far. Could this simply be a blown fuse? easiest way to tell...

It is possibly a fuse or a ground issue. Hopefully that is all that it is, but what made the fuse blow in the first place?

i think its a ground issue, because now, along with speedometer, O/D button light its message center lights, pillar guage lights, fuel guage, etc. where are the ground locations that I should check?

Sounds more like a fusible link problem. Check by the battery for crispy wires.

Fusibable links are available through most parts stores. If you are electrically inclined or have a buddy that is you may want to replace the burnt link with a fuse block and the right size fuses.
