Door Hinge Pin Replacement ???
I thought we had a sticky on hinge-pin replacement.
I recently read a good TECH article on it somewhere, but can't seem to find it.
Can someone point me in the right direction, please ??
Thanks.

It just happens that I have 2 new repair kits sitting on my desk right in front of me. The driver’s door has a bit of sag to it when I close it so I bought 2 kits from NAPA and I am going to replace all 4 of the pins and bushings when I get a chance.
I am hoping they gave me the correct part.

Done Got Pins
I have six doors worth of new pins and bushings.
DORMAN = HELP! #38386
Not many days ago, I read a detailed write-up, with plenty of pictures, on replacing the pins in Dodge trucks.
I thought it was here, in the sticky, but it must have been somewhere else, as I can't seem to find it again.
Oh well, it probably isn't so complicated that I can't figure it out.

Is it possible to do this without taking the hinge off the door? IE jack the door up just so and then hit it out with a sledge? change the bushings and pop the new pin back in there?

Yes, that's how I did mine. Often just replacing the lower pin and bushings will fix the problem, so do it first and see if you need to bother with the upper.

Bear, when I did mine I drove the bottom pin out and took the bolts out of the door on the upper. No real need to remove the dash unless the hinge itself is wore/wallowed out. The way the door curves at the top there's not enough room to drive it out like you can the bottom.
