Denny T fuel pin HELP

This is to anyone out there that has a Denny T pin. I just got mine in the mail today, was going to put that and a 366 spring in tomorrow. It did not come with a new plastic washer, all the other ones on the market come with a thinner washer. (bully dog, ole smokey, ddp.) Denny is not on line but I will pm him anyway, but can anyone tell me , do I not need the thinner washer with his pin or did he just forget to send it ? Thanks.

You don't need the washer. I don't have mine, and the majority of people don't have theirs either.

Running without it will not cause any engine harm.

as long as the pin rides where you want it you don't need it. On a stock ground pin like mine it will ride too far thus the reason why i have mine but it is shaved down.

Well, if your the type that like to record different settings, you can install the new pin with the washer.. Run it for a few days.. Then pull the pin back out and take a measurement of where the wear mark stops.. Then reistall the pin without the washer.. Then drive a few days or a week then pop it back out and take another measurement... You should notice the pin riding up/deeper on the new fuel pin... Or you can just take it out from the start!!!

I shaved mine several times until the witness mark rode up into the deepest part of the pin, like DNR said. Ended up being about half it's original thickness, IIRC.

This may sound stoopid but does the side of the pin that is cut down go towards the front of the pump or towards the side of the motor? im a little confused

the cut/deep side faces the front of the motor.
