Daytime Running light relay gave up

Hello gang, My daytime running light relay kicked the bucket on me yesterday, wouldn't shut the lights off when I shut the truck down and the high beam indicator was always on but dim when the hibeams were not on... Went to NAPA and they didn't list one, is this a dealer only item? If I can't find one I'll just run without it as I am doing now... What pins would I need to put a jumper in to make the hibeam indicator work? Thanks,
Toby in Squamish, B.C.

Unhappy YES....

YES, it is a dealer item only, but there is a package available from "Canadian Tire", that will install very easy !!! Or as I call it "Newfie Speed and Sport" Canucktrucks

I have my DRL jumpered for the High Beam indicator. My DRL module (pretty much the same controller) died too. I just unplugged it and found the pins to connect from the high beam relay and the indicator lite. I think the problem may be that the modules had different pin outs for the earlier models.

I would use a DVM and find the high beam signal. There are a number of ground wires too in that coupler. I don't have a book for the correct wire colors for the signals and output to the dash.. For me the Red/orange was the high beam signal from the relay and the high beam indicator was ... I am gonna have to go look again.
