Cummins Conversion Progress (Pics)

It's starting to look like a truck again.

Hopefully by the 1st weekend in September, I'll have it back in my hands.

How's the dash swap coming along? That looked like it would be a time consuming PITA. Looks like it will be ready to make some noise real soon.

Hopefully Scott(Proram) will chime in. I'm just the check writer on this project at least.

Thumbs up Petes truck

Chiming in...lol the Dash was a pain, but it's near completion,
biggest pain was all the non factory wiring that was in the truck ,
it now has the complete 93 dash, wiring, steering column and heater box and controls.( i still need a stick tilt column to finish it right, Anybody??? help..lol) "Hope" to have fire end of week or early next. the whole truck is now esentially a 93 now, i used the whole fuel system, all wiring front to rear, and everything on the dash/firewall, (even the wiper moter is now 93) the 75 had the wipers on the dash, dimmer sw. on the floor, and the 93 has all the functions on the column so hense the whole swap, ( at least he'll have the new style key..
enough for now, will have more later in week.

You are doing such a nice job!!
I wish I had the vision that you have.
I can tell by the time that you have in it, that you will have a 1 of a kind unit.
I know there is not enough cash to buy that truck now
Great job, I want more photos

Too cool. Is that a long bed converted to 4wd or could you get a 4wd long bed in '75? What tranny are you using? Love the fender flares. We may be getting a 2wd, 85, long bed, crew cab, this week. I am leaning towards stretching my ctd for the crewcab because of my flat bed and 4wd. The box seems pretty clean though, except the tailgate is banged up. Crappy blue paint job now, hopefully it'll end up as nice as yours. Keep the pictures coming.

MY understanding is the truck started out as a 2wd standard cab. The previous owner did all of the conversion work including, the crew cab, the duallys, and the suspension lift.
