Well I guess I have been playing a little too much here lately and have slipped my Saks clutch severely, and am trying to decide between a SBC Con OFE or Con FE, for my current horsepower level possibly with the addition of water methanol, and want a clutch that will hold up to hard daily driving, abuse, and occasional drag racing. All input is greatly appreciated
many thanks again

The OFE IS a 13", it's the Con-O that's available in 12". I have the FE and it's pretty grabby. I would NOT want to try backing a trailer with this thing. The Con-OFE would be a lot nicer in traffic, and the center is just as strong as the Con FE. It's only the friction material that's different. FE is ferramic on both sides, OFE has organic on one side and ferramic on the other. The OFE is rated for 450/900, the FE is rated for 550/1100. I think you'll be hard pressed to hurt an OFE. Ain't like you can go pulling with a 2wd.
The 13" version of the Con-O will be on the edge if you throw water/meth in the mix, so I'd steer clear of that even though it has really nice street manners.
I think I'd stick with the OFE unless you plan to get a big ol' intercooler, a set of twins, and some fire hose sized injectors to go play with Stomp and KTA.

I'd go with the FE. A 1st gen at 450hp typically makes much more than 900ftlb of torque. Then one at 550hp, will make much more than 1100ftlbs, given the proper tuning and setup. You can have a 350hp truck that makes upwards of 900+ftlb of torque. That said, I'd go as big as you can afford. You also don't want to spend twice. Maybe later down the road you will have some big hp goodies on your truck, you'll be happy you bought the higher rated clutch.
