Mine idles slower when its cold? Does that mean my ksb is not working or do the non ic trucks act differently? I know the operation is kind of opposite isn't it?

My truck seems to idle faster in cold weather. It always has done this.

The sticky is your friend.

Short answer is that it advances the timing at low RPM when the engine is cold.

If the truck runs when the wire falls off, then it's the KSB wire.

The KSB is the thing on the side of the pump with a wire going to it.
