A/C Fan on high quit working

I did the write up Jim Lane posted in the sticky on how to get your blower fan to blow faster. Well going down the highway this evening the fan quit blowing on high. It still blows on low and medium, but not on high. Any suggestions?

I looked and made sure everything was still connected, and it is. I don't know where to start!

Thanks, Tony

Tony,
If you followed my diagram here is the order in which I would check:

A) Using a voltmeter or a test light check at Term #30 of Relay K-2 and see that there is a good 12-volts. If there is not check your fuse and connection to your battery.

B) With a jumper wire connected to the battery (+) connect the opposite end to the relay Term. #85 or whichever terminal you used for (+) and see if the relay pulls in and the blower runs.

C) If the relay clicks but the blower does not run and you have 12-volts at the relay Term.#30 using a jumper wire connect Term. #30 to Term. #87 and see if the blower runs.

If it does run then your relay is probably burned out, I have a 75-amp relay on mine.

D) If the relay does click and the blower runs when the jumper wire from the battery to Term. #85 is connected then using your voltmeter or a test light connected to the wire that is connected to Term. #85 see if there is 12-volts when the IGN is on and the blower switch is set on HI.

Check it out following this procedure and it should be easy to find the problem,
I am betting on the relay being bad.

Jim

The high wire in the dash has been disconnected. I have mine wired according to the diagram posted above.
