Boost seems a little weak
I installed a boost and pyro in my stock truck a couple days ago. Pulling a long hill at WOT the boost is 12# and exhaust temp 1000. Do I need to look for a problem or is it time to grab a nice clean 2x6 and start turning up the wick?
Thanks
Dave

Those are absolutely normal numbers for an untweeked setup. I only saw 12 or 13 lbs. with my stock setup. A 16cm exhaust housing brought me up to around 18 lbs. A couple turns on the fuel screw got me about 20 lbs. Turning and adjusting the AFC diaphragm and spring has brought me up to around 24 lbs. My next stop is an HX35 turbo and some new injectors. I'd like to be in the 30 to 35 lbs. range at some point.
BTW, at 24 lbs, with a light haze out the tail, the EGT stays pretty reasonable unless I'm at 11,000 feet.

Cool, Thanks! my plan from here is clock the fuel pin, turn in the screw (ready to choke off a runaway) an fab up a 4" exhaust. It has a straight pipe on it now using a stock style pipe. It is darn near squashed flat over the rear axle, gotta fix that.
