I just put 4" straight pipe on my truck today, WOW sounds
sweet I set off every car alarm in the block. Next im puting on 14cm turbo housing!!

How much clearence was there around the transfer case? I plan on doing my 4in exhaust sometime next week.
Also, did you notice any difference in turbo spoolup?

 

about an inch of clearance. being a 21cm it takes for ever to spool anyways. plus im still getting use to the CTD thing abd always forget to just floor it to get some readings!

I ran straight piped for a while. I just sawed it off before the old muffler & ran it like that. It was fun at first. I could set off car alarms in parking structures & feak out pedestrians. The fun did wear off & I put a Flowmaster muffler on it & routed the exhaust where it is supposed to go. I am happier now with the quieter ride. I can open the rear slider & still hear the radio.
