BHAF!? what is it?

i know its a high flow filter but does it include a smooth ducted intake tube? i'm a plumber so pvc seems logical to me but then again, i dont pretend to know more than i know. has anyone used pvc, or anything equivalent, with bushings and rubber boots to join things together to make a nice, non intercooled intake?

most use 4" aluminum tubing and rubber 45* elbows. BHAF is only the filter, most get them from Napa.

That won,t be the first BHAF hook up that I have seen plumbed into a Dodge. It gives the engine compartment a nice personal touch IMHO .

I use a BHAF from FLEETFILTER. They had an excellent price - someone else has the number, I'm sure. I also have an OUTERWEARS BHAF cover. Stock intake tube. Look in my sig - I don't use an Old Smokey mount, so I don't have to take a bunch of stuff off to change my filter. My cover has kept it dry so far. There are pics in my gallery

Loco - Just search "BHAF" on the Outerwears site (or call them) - they know us there. Be sure to check prices before ordering your BHAF filter. Fleetfilter.com had really good prices - about half of what it would have cost me locally, INCLUDING shipping. If you want any specifics just PM me and I will be happy to help you with info on making your mount.

without outerwears how do you protect the filter from the water?? Which direction does the water come from?? through the grill? would you normally have to build a whole box like the stock one?

Mine only has a drip cover - otherwise it's "out in the open". It has stayed dry so far.

Is this better than running at K+N air filter? Why?

Bigger + Less restrictive + NO box = better air flow. I ditched my K&N for this setup and I like it more. Can hear the turbo better.

Will the stock flex tube on an 89 fit the BHAF?
