Bhaf and straight pipe
Well tuesday I was looking at my exhaust and noticed a crush clamp in front of the axle. I decided I'd loosen it cut the pipe going over the axle, spin it 180 deegrees and have a home made pre axle dump. Well Easier said then done. After fooling around for about 15 minutes with the clamp and joint I wacked it all off. Wallah!!! straight pipe. I don't know what the previous owner was thinking when he repaired the axle loop with 2 1/4" pipe. Crush bent! Needless to say I picked up some nice topend power. I temped in my BHAF last night with some plastic strap (from my home HVAC install). I picked up power everywhere with those 2 mods alone. And I get some nice turbo sound now. I can here off idle for a change.
I down loaded the pump bombing instructions tonight. I'm seething to get the pyro and housing in there I just need a few more dollars.

I couldn't stand it. This morning I turned the off boost fuel screw in 2 turns. Man what a difference. I now get full boost in the first 10mph off the line. It wouldn't hit full boost before 20mph before. I'm not towing anything right now so I should be okay until I get the pyro and then I turn everything else up. But it sure did wake the truck up.
