IIRC Chrysler only paid like 1.3 to R&R that pump so removing all those other things was not going to happen.
Yes you are a professional, unlike guys like me that disconnect the batteries, chaulk all four wheels, just to replace the windshield wipers.

I don't disconnect the battery when I replace my wipers but I do drain the fuel.

Alex at Valley Fuel injection in WOodland asked me to mail him my lift pump, he took it apart and says it is cheap Chinese POS and has two blown seals, thinks this is what pumped fuel into block. He sent it back yesterday , should be here soon.

This guy could have bent me over as I am desperate, spent much time talking with me on the phone and i was ready to have truck towed in to his shop but he asked to look at lift pump first... He is not even charging me for return shipping or the time he spent on my pump. Things have not been bleak for me lately since a car accident end of May, this has been a much needed ray of sunshine

anyone know part # and vendor for the LOW pressure piston pump, MADE IN USA? I dont want to buy another chinese POS and go through this again.

C&P from another thread: The 3933256 was replaced by the 3936320.
The 3936320 was replaced by the 4944714.
The 4944714 was replaced by the 4988751.

So who makes best quality and where can I buy it?
