Anybody looking for S-Style wrenches or ball end hex wrenches?

I've looked at Sears, Lowes, Home Depot and every auto parts store near me, as well as Harbor Freight Tools and couldn't find any. Finally found an inexpensive set on Ebay ;

Metric only - http://cgi.ebay.com/5pc-S-SHAPE-OBST...713.m153.l1262

SAE & Metric - http://cgi.ebay.com/10pc-S-SHAPE-OBS...713.m153.l1262

Ball End Hex Wrenches - http://cgi.ebay.com/25pc-INDUSTRIAL-...713.m153.l1262

These should make working on the VE a little easier. Besides, who doesn't like buying tools?

My advise on the s wrench aka pump wrench, find a snap on truck/dealer or visit www.snapon.com or whatever their website is, and get the pump wrench sp144 for ~$28. The ball end wrenches are available from Sears or Sears online. Get the t handle ball end metric wrench set. I've done at least ten pump top R&R's with the same 5mm t handle ball end Craftsman wrench, Dave, and it hasn't broke yet .

Those S-wrenches look like they came out of the same factory in China as the now discontinued Harbor Freight wrenches. Good find, and the price is not too hateful.

Never broke the ball-end wrench, just stripped a bolt head, Bill. It ain't gonna happen to me again.

Ok it was someone else that said you (I) would break a ball end wrench. Well I haven't stripped a bolt head either, just lucky I'm sure. Had many that sounded like they were gonna go though. I always put the best looking, best shape allen bolt in the back, hard to reach corner upon reinstall. That way you have a good one there for the next time if necessary pump top r and r.

Who'd thunk that a post about tools would start a edit match?

Gotta love this place
