air filter

Sometimes i want to get attention. so i take the air filter hose off the turbo inlet. this makes the turbo sing better than anything. but then i put it back on after a while. i dotn run around forever without it off. but if i just take it off every once in a while it shuld be ok right?

I would definately not do this. Put a BHAF on there and then you'll hear a bit more. With a straight pipe you'll hear it way more too. Like Jimmy said, save up and buy the HX-35 or WH1C off a 94.

Very bad idea! The best way to kill a turbo is to let it suck in a piece of debris. Jeremy (TexasHardcore) sucked a shop rag into his and totally destroyed the impeller - luckily he was working at a turbo shop at the time.

You are risking a $12,000 motor trying to get alittle more attention or to sound cool.

You do the math.

Only give the turbo clean air unless you want to dust the engine real quick.
