It's the same here dodgecowboy, if you get caught using off road fuel on the highway it gets real expensive, and they check randomly. its not worth it to me, they fined several people around here.

Re:93 W250
Who says I'm not paying taxes?Yu just have to fill out there little form and send it in.I should look in to this maybe.
Biodeisel isn't considered offroad only use. Some stsates have tax insentives for cleaner burning fuels, which biodeisel is one of.I'll check some of this stuff out. Down here in new orleans or mississippi you can pull up to the tax free pump and fill up they dont care to much.

OK in my travels i found another dodge cept this one is a 91 4x4 Long Bed Stnd Cab CTD. Its got power every thing paint is good cept its in need of a new tail light and a tail gate but the gate and light i could live with tell i can replace them. The truck has 79,000 orignal miles on the CTD and there asking 8,500 for the truck now iam torn between the two either the 93 if i can not get the guy to go lower then iam goin with the 91 what do y'all think?

Re:93 W250
ok i would buy the 93. I like extended cabs. You said the 93 is cherry right. And is this 91 a late 91 or early 91. If it's early your not gonna have an intercooler. I think i'm just fond of extended cabs though. So offer him 10,000 for the 93 if you don't think it's worth the 11,000 but i paid almost 10 for mine with 147,000 miles on it and i think it's far from being cherry.

Is the 91 an auto as well? If so, I would stay with the 93, it sounds like a nice rig, and you will love the extra room in the cab, we jam all our groceries in there...and the odd person or two...And as Chris mentioned, the intercooler is a consideration as well.

Yeah it really sucks for people to have to sit in that extended cab But i've fit about 6 people in mine before. and it is handy for groceries too. Did you decide yet Cowboy?

Yes in away. I asked the guy to come down on his price and no budge on the 93. The 91 i decied against cause i would like a intercooled one. So i called my grandpa who owns a used car lot and he is goin to the auction tomaorw and this way i can spend my money else were and a dealer cost. Which is good cuase i could get a 13 or 14 thousand dollar truck for a 11. With that possiblely even newer than 95. So sooner or later i will stop drivin this ol beat up ranch truck and get a truck that i can use and feel confident its got the power there and the realiablty

Re:93 W250
Wish i would've found that 93 before i bought my 92. That sounds like a really good deal to me. But i guess that's what i think. Me just like you have wanted one of these since i was 16. I drove one with my boss to San Fran and we were pulling a 32 foot gooseneck that we weighed right when we left the ranch. It weighed 30,000 and i was like no way this truck is going to pull this. It did and it did it with good fuel mileage. But good luck on your search.

Re:93 W250
i paid 9999.00 for my 97 3500 ex cab dually 4x4 215hp. the clutch was chatering and it had 199k on it. i have had a 93 4x4 5 speed ex cab 3/4 ton and a 92 dually 4x4 auto. the second gen trucks are miles ahead of the older trucks. both of my first gen truck worked like a champ, road like a buckboard[but the 93 had captians chairs, much better]. i never had a problem out of either truck. but i am much more pleased with the second gen for a daily driver that i haul way to much weight with. here is my zip code here in texas 76020. use it for a search on autotrader.com. texas trucks are rust free and much cheaper than what you are getting for prices up there. it sound like it is worth a road trip to save 4 to 5 grand. mike

Re:93 W250
Don't forget to leave a small amount of $$ for all of your BOMBing ideas on your truck. Though these rigs go so nice stock, once you've been bitten, hang on to your wallet and pants because they really move.
