92 Kdp

OK feeling kinda dumb on this one pulled apart crank case cover and did the KDP, checked case bolts and got interupted in the project for a while and forgot were the long bolt with the spacer attached goes can anyone help

Should be right over crank. Crank speed sensor mounts too it.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Wish I would have done the cardboard trick. I'm not seeing the bolt I'm looking for. I left the bolts for the crank sensor in the bracket. I will have to take a photo of the bolt so that all can see.

The one you are talking about goes right by the damper on the driver's side. It keeps you from putting the belt on - I mean, it keeps the belt from flying off.

So would that be the last long bolt hole on the driver side of the dampner?

Yeah, looks like it should be the second hole to the driver's side of the crank. The damper should just barely miss it.

First time on a diesel. It has been a learning curve but all should go well from this point forward as when I have hit a road block. Instead of throwing wrenches I have spent time prep work to go back together.
