Exclamation 92 Dodge W250 Automatic problem!

cant help it! tranny doesnt wanne shift in o/d. tps seems fine! tv cable works fine! tranny seems fine! recent oil change! o/d only kicks in if moving fast enough and be off the gas for at least 3-5 seconds. once in, it will kick out shortly...

please help! ideas!

Sounds like the TPS anyway.

really!? thats weird, cuz i did the check procedure! seems good! but i dont know 100%...

i disconnected the kickdown cable spring today, all of a sudden my tranny was shifting totally fine. so i assum my spring is weak/wrong or something like that, anyone had those experiences?

I would recheck the adjustment on that cable and put the spring back.

Sound like the TPS is set too high. Turn the adjuster clock wise a little. That was what mine was doing. You had to back off the throttle to get it in to OD then only a little more throttle would kick it out again.

mine done the same thing take it off and spray wd40 in it and put it back on. mine works like it should.

have you checked the crank sencer. mine did that..i checked every thing.. all worked good when i set my crank sencer back to speck.. 0.052 or 0.057 is the gap i think,,
