Yes, but expensive. This valve body has full manual control over 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Lockup is on a switch and reverse is the neutral position until you press the transbrake button.

47 and 48RE valve body

Thanks for everyones reply's so just talked to the tranny shop and my 46rh looks completely fine, so thats good and bad news. i am going to have to start to look into the fuel system on why the truck wouldnt get out of its own way when loaded. I have found a 47 rh out of a v10 i am going to squirrel away till i can build a heavy trans in the future

Still think a new convert might help. The motor spinning at the same RPM when pulling sounds like slippage more then a fuel delivery issue.

I would agree to a point but wouldn’t slipping cause the engine to rev high?

Yes but only to a point, the stock gov spring (approx. 2500 rpm) in the IP will start to defuel the motor at about 2200rpm and not allow it to rev much higher. That is why many install the 3200 rpm spring for a few extra RPM's.

I assume you do not have a tach, or upgraded Gov spring?

So my guess is your convert was slipping and the motor was just defueling and just sitting at it's max RPM, that is why it was not taching out.
