Dragging this thread back.

Picked up a set of 3rd gen alloys. Mainly for my 2ndgen. But I may do a test fit on my w350 and throw some pics up.

I had a set on a 2nd gen.
They bolted right on with no spacers.
I did get a little rim rub on the front, if I cranked the steering wheel all the way, side to side.

Does anyone know if this thread would apply to 2015 wheels??

A guy I know has a set off his Laramie, wheels and tires, with less then 5000 miles on them. Best part is he said I could HAVE them!

Just installed a set of the 20" 2014 wheels on my dad's 97. (among other items)

Used 2" spacers. These new wheels have about 7" backspacing if I recall. The 2" spacers put the wheels 3/16" outboard from stock overall. 8 inches wide.

Tires are 275/65R20 ~34.1" tall.

for first gens since the axles are more narrow, 2" might be just perfect. Also, the hub center is cast into the wheel, so no hubcap to remove, and they aren't deep enough to fit a dana axle directly on the hub. (hub/axle too long)

Oh yeah, we went with the STEEL adapters at wheeladapter dot com. Fred Goeske makes a great product. (albeit pricey, it is worth it)

for the 18" wheels you run into the same issue - no removable hubcap - the 4th gen 17" wheels are similar looking to third gens with removable hubcap but I'm not sure how the back space compares.

Is that a no for the first Gen then, because of the wheel center?

They should fit but you'll need 2" spacers. They'll be tucked in a bit more than on the 2nd gen pictured.

Yeeah the front will be a pain, but the center Ram Head medallion does remove and you could probably access the locking hubs, but it has a "dome" around most of the hub as you can see. would be a pain if you were locking /unlocking all the time.
