Hey Thanks guys! I don't know much about duallies so I dunno if the rims will fit. You will probably have to do like I did, tear a set off of another truck to find out. lol

I hate to dig up an old post, but I was just wondering if anyone has put 3rd gen wheels on a two wheel drive and were there any clearance issues? How much further in do they sit? I'm going to pick some up Wednesday and I'm trying to figure out if I need any kind of spacer or not. Thanks.

How much? Will those 1/2" spacers work or do you have to use those high dollar wheel adapters?

I'd go with at least a 1.5" spacer

X2 on the spacers, i know it's not what you want to hear but the wheels on my truck without the spacers looks hidious, it will work but looks like they don't belong on there.

I personally like the look of these trucks with the stock steelies and no hubcaps.

I thought about that. Take the dog dishes and trim rings off and paint the wheels some sort of light gray or silver. I just can't see sinking over $250 into the adapters. Plus the $250 I'm going to spend on the wheels. I know they look great and they're Dodge, but I could get similar looking aftermarket wheels for less. Thanks for the input, guys.

I highly doubt you could get a similar aftermarket forged aluminum wheel for less than you'll pay for a set of 3rdgens.

I think he's talkin about 3rd gen wheels and adapters will cost more than some aftermarket wheels that will work without adapters.

Great! Maybe one of the mods could edit a post and put this further up in the thread! Can you get some pics?

Silly question, I'm sure. But I'm not sure and just want to confirm what year to what year are the 3rd gen tks. So when I hunt up a set for mine. I just want to look for the right year. Thanks

2003-2009 IIRC. I think the 4th generation rims are the same size, but don't quote me.
