366 = Wow
Well, I got my idle speeded up and was able to get out on the road today.
All I can say is WOW.....
I've had this truck for 20 years and have never had it over 70 except on a long down hill run. Now it's been to the end of the speedo (that's only 85) and on an uphill run....would have gone further, but it's a 55 zone and lots of HP's on it.
All I can say is THANKS to all of you on the forum. Couldn't have done it without your help and info.
Thanks again.

Howdy Gutiarman! C Falls. Wow. I lived in Kalispell for about 8 years about 15 years ago. I still regret leaving. I probably would not recognize it today! Is Tina Maries still at the stoplight in Ronan?
The 366 spring did more for my rig than any other single item, however, I did a lot of mods prior to that so perhaps it just made it all come together.

Tina Maries is still there. Kalispell has changed a lot. Have a Lowe's and Home depot and building a super wallyworld.. As they say, californicating the place. Been here for 32 years.
Rick.

The spring did wonders for my truck. I shoulda did the spring and then the fuel pin. I can always toss the stocker in and see what it really did tho.
Its definitely worth the couple hours of tearing it and doing it, plus the hefty $15 price tag

What he said ^^
And it also makes use of less leverage because in this case you don't want it.
If the rod is on the outside hole then it will take more pedal to make the throttle linkage move, meaning more go pedal to pull away from a stop street. etc. etc..
If its on the inside hole its less leverage (i think) maybe more.. idk
but you won't have to push the pedal as much to make the throttle move,
however, the pedal may take a barely noticeable more amount of pressure to push the pedal, but by getting rid of the return spring going from the timing case to the throttle linkage it will make it easier to pull, the throttle linkage on the pump has a built in return spring so another return spring is not needed, or you could get a lighter duty return spring.
blah blah. etc.
