2000-02 alluminum wheels fit?

Anybody ever seen a 1st gen wearing 00-02 alloy wheels? Will they fit? I see a lot of trucks running around on the 2nd gen chrome steelies so I would assume they fit...but we all know what assuming does. (It makes an a## out of u and me...well mostly me usually.)

I have thought about buying a set of them too. IMO, they are the best looking wheels that Dodge has ever used. I think that the bolt pattern is the same, but it may need the 00-02 lugnuts to work.

I tried to put my 02's alloys on my dad's 99 and they would not fit on the rear wheels. The 02 had disk and before that they had larger drum brakes.

Yep. They fit on the back but are tucked under there 2" more than stock. Fronts need at least a 1" spacer/adapter to make them work. I had 2" spacers custom made for mine and they came with 9/16 studs so the lugs and caps will fit too. They look great. I had a hard time finding what I wanted back then now, I see in Diesel Power magazine there are companies that sell these. I also converted my original 1/2 studs over to 9/16, just for the heck of it. You can always go back to stock too, as the rims will still go over the 9/16 studs.
About the only picture of my truck on the web is in HTTs winners circle wearing those rims.

Yeah, you'd need spacers to make it look good,

We put them on my 98 we had to machine about 1/8 inch of the rear drums to make em fit, no biggie,

later on we had us made some spacers, and put in longer studs, now the truck looks a lot better, they just dont look good as far under the fenders....

Not sure. A 6.5" chrome rim from the 94-98 trucks will fit and possibly the 7" plain jane steel rims they used on 98-02 trucks. The problem is the offset is deeper and the tires start to get close to the inside wheel well on the rear.

So if you get something like this...

[URL="http://cgi.ebay.ca/DODGE-8-LUG-NEW-WHEEL-ADAPTERS-SPACER-2-INCH_W0QQitemZ220074127954QQihZ012QQcategoryZ42614 QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem"]

then the 00 - 02 wheels will work fine then right?

I have 17" steelies off of an 05 on my 92. They all fit fine, except the front driver side. I had to run a 1/4 inch spacer on it. They look funny on our trucks though. The backspacing is huge, so they sit way up under the truck. Rear especially.
