02 alluminum rims on a 99? Help

I just purchased a set of 02 Ram alluminum rims for my 99 Ram 2500. I wanted to upgrade my steel rims and the 02 rims look better. I was told by multiple sources they should work. I got them home tonight and the rear rims will not clear my brake drums.

Will these guys work? It seems like they are a different offset. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry, you should have included this site as one of your sources.

Some have gotten them to work by grinding off some of the brake drum.

i have 02' rims on my 97. i had to go on to the lip on the drums with a grinder to make the wheels fit. if you r lucky u can find a big rig shop and have the drums turned down enuff to fit. grinder worked well though but u will be crusty when done. and wear a mask when u do it that stuff is nasty. good luck, scott
