How fast are you guys running? just wondering what it takes to get a 1st gen in the 12s since they aren't as heavy as the 2nd or 3rd gens

It wouldnt take much to get a reg cab 2wd into the 12's

 

I ran a 15.1@87mph with 92 in my sig. No traction, stock tranny, and 400 dollars into the engine thats not bad. With a little more fuel, air, traction, and some tranny mods i think 12's would be pretty doable. I love first gens

 

I ran 15.7 the last time I was at the drag strip which was over a year ago. Goerend converter and valvebody. POD's, HTT stage IV with 12cm WG, stock lift pump.

I would expect something in the low 14's now, maybe even high 13's with the mods I have done now.
